New ABCC update from Pastor Austin Calder

Hello Above and Beyond Community Church Family                                                                  

As everyone is aware this has been a crazy time surrounding the Covid-19!  In response to this the pastors and elders have been in continual prayer and consideration on what the best action is going forward for Above and Beyond Community Church. Based on all the current information surrounding the Covid-19 virus and the welfare of all of us they have made the decision, Starting this Sunday and for the next two weeks our Sunday Service will be Livestreamed only, at abcc.church and our church app. 

Here is a little sneak peek of what God has for us on Sunday! 

 “Looking for a cure, or to be healed?”

Mark 4:37-40

“When you face the storms of life, do you fearfully focus on the storm, or do you faithfully focus on the Savior?

    Jesus knew when He said let’s go to the other side, they would encounter a storm. Some Christians make the mistake of thinking that just because they have the Lord in their life that they will be immune to trouble, tribulation, and problems.                                   

Even though Jesus was in the boat, the storm still struck. 

Sunday’s service at 10:30am will be filled with the same spirit-led worship, teaching, prayer and maybe a Pastor Austin story that you experience every Sunday here at ABCC, just in the comfort of your home! Invite you friends and family to Belong Here by Live-streaming with us! 

We have paused all of our on-campus ministries and activities for the next two weeks; we will update you weekly of any changes. Continue to stay connected to abcc.church and our church app for communications from our pastors and ministry leaders, this will keep us connected to each other while we cannot gather in person. 

We want you - the ABCC family - to know that the Pastoral Staff, Elders and Leadership is and will be available to each one of you if a need or concern arises during this challenging journey. Continue to send your prayer requests through the church app or the website, they will be prayed over by the prayer team. 

Just because so many of our plans and events have been and are being cancelled, that does not mean God is cancelled or the Church is cancelled. Times such as these serve as a reminder that we don’t just go to church in a building, we are the church! Let this be an opportunity to connect even more, to love even more and share the light of Christ even more.
